The Quiet Cave
The Quiet Cave is a portable device that can be unfolded and arranged into an overhead privacy shield, giving the user a private space to feel more comfortable. Designed with neurodivergent students in mind, The Quiet Cave would help soothe anxiety and eliminate visual and audio stimuli, easing anxiety and preventing sensory overload in a school environment.
The Quiet Cave provides a cocoon-like environment through the design of front and back coverage; the Cave features an extended cushion seat so that the user is free to move around easily if they have trouble sitting still. Bringing the Quiet Cave Outside can also help the Neurodivergent enjoy a calming, outside environment while feeling protected and comfortable.
